What are the requirements of heavy casters for its accessories?
- 2020-09-23-

1. Wheel material selection: The role of heavy casters is to move heavy equipment, so this type of wheel can generally be divided into hard tread wheels, nylon wheels, cast iron wheels, forged steel wheels, hard rubber wheels, and polyurethane wheels. , Phenolic wheels are ideal choices. Among them, forged steel wheels and polyurethane wheels are particularly suitable for special heavy casters. The casters produced by our company (Qingdao Fushengde Plastic Co., Ltd.) are mainly made of polyurethane.

2. Bracket design: The bracket of this type of caster usually uses metal materials as the main body, including ordinary steel plate stamping forming, cast steel forming, die forging forming, etc., usually plate type as the main body. The thickness of the steel plate of such casters is generally 8mm, 10mm, 16mm and 20mm above the steel plate.

3. Wheel diameter selection

According to this principle, the larger the wheel diameter, the more flexible the rotation will be. Commonly used specifications are 4 inches, 5 inches, 6 inches, 8 inches, 10 inches, and 12 inches. Thicker casters can use 16-inch and 18-inch wheels. . At present, our 12-ton super heavy casters are bipedal wheels with a diameter of 400mm and a width of 125mm. Of course, you can also customize heavy-duty casters with special specifications, such as heavy-duty casters with a low center of gravity, and smaller 2-inch casters, which can also withstand a weight of more than 360 kg.

4. Rotating plate design:

This type of caster usually adopts double steel ball track, stamping and forming and heat treatment. For super-heavy universal swivel tables, generally vigorous flat ball bearings or flat needle roller bearings are used, and the matching taper bearings can effectively improve the carrying capacity of this type of caster.

Special impact-resistant heavy-duty universal wheel, the rotating plate is made of die-forged steel, precisely processed and formed, effectively avoiding the welding of the connecting plate bolts, and improving the impact resistance of the caster with greater strength.
