Introduction of galvanized surface treatment of brake casters

1. Cyanide zinc plating

Due to the high toxicity of cyanide, the Ministry of Environmental Protection has put forward strict restrictions on the use of cyanide in electro-galvanized caster hardware, and has continuously promoted the development of reducing cyanide and replacing electro-galvanized caster hardware with low use requirements. Cyanide casters are electroplating solution for hardware parts. The caster using this process will improve the quality of the product after the hardware part is electro-galvanized, especially after the color plating is passivated, the color can be maintained very well.

2. Zincate zinc plating

The zincate galvanizing process is developed from the cyanide galvanizing process. At present, two major factions have formed in China:

Typical formula: NaOH--110~120g/l; ZnO-11~12g/l; 94-5~7g/l. 94 is the product code name is the combination of "DPE-Ⅱ" and ethanolamine.

Note: After the product comes out of the tank —> water washing —> light (nitric acid + hydrochloric acid) —> water washing —> passivation —> water washing —> water washing —> Hot dry —> drying —> aging treatment (80~90oC in the oven).

3. Chloride zinc plating

In the electroplating industry of caster hardware, the chloride zinc plating process is relatively widely used in this industry, accounting for about 40%. Zinc can replace Luo after passivation. This process is suitable for white passivation (blue white, silver white). When the customer does not have too many requirements, they choose silver passivation (the color remains relatively stable).

Typical formula: KCl--180~220g/l; ZnCl--65~75g/l; H3BO3--25~30g/l (buffer); PH value 5~5.5; CI-87--15~20g/ l (brightener).

4. Sulfate zinc plating

Continuous galvanizing is more suitable for the sulfate galvanizing process, because the cost is relatively low.

Typical formula: ZnSO4--300~500g/l; H3BO3--25~30g/l; PH value: 4.5~5.5; Sulfur-zinc -15~20g/l (brightener).
